Experience the power of nature in a very special way at the Herbarium Festival at Badeparadies Schwarzwald. Ceremonies, rituals, herbal essences and soothing sounds create a unique atmosphere. International sauna masters will transport you into the world of the art of the Aufguss, whilst harmonious scents and soothing aromas pamper your senses, body and mind. An experience that connects you – with nature and with yourself.
At the Herbarium Festival, the entire spa complex is transformed into a haven of pure natural beauty. This unique event brings a new sauna and wellness experience to Germany. Whilst the air in the sauna is filled with the scents of thyme, hops and rosemary, the meditative sounds of handpan players create an atmosphere of deep relaxation.

Herbarium experts from all over the world
The rituals and infusions at the Herbarium create a space filled with warmth, scent, sound and movement, where body, mind and soul come into harmony. They invite you to let go, purify yourself and feel a deep connection to nature, the elements and your own inner strength.
Guest infusion specialists and artists from all over the world are coming to the Badeparadies Schwarzwald for the Herbarium Festival.

Tomoko Hasegawa, Aki Yoshino, Yujiro Ostuka
The team from Japan is a group of whisking masters, herbal masters and infusion masters. They specialise in creating herbal sauna rituals that combine plants with traditional whisking techniques.

Alycia Wong
Alycia is the first sauna master in Denver, Colorado, and a somatic guide on the journey inward. With international certifications in Aufguss, breathwork, dance, thermal practices and somatic disciplines, she creates pathways where heat becomes revelation, cold becomes clarity, and the breath becomes a bridge back to the self.

Carmen, Teodora and Izabela are from our partner spa in Bucharest and will be treating our guests to wonderful infusion creations featuring ingredients from various regions around the world.

Mario's very nature exudes calm and serenity – using natural remedies, he enhances this effect and proves time and again that no one can resist its influence.

Danny Cautaert
Danny, from Belgium, has been conducting infusion ceremonies since 2002 and brings with him many years of experience and a passion for soothing sauna experiences. He was an early pioneer in the use of pure essential oils, creating sensorial infusions that invigorate both body and mind.

Viktoria Csanicz
Viktoria is originally from Hungary and has built her career in British Columbia, Canada, designing innovative sauna and wellness concepts. Her sauna infusions combine heat, scents and breathing techniques in unique rituals.

Ulla Tang-Jerslund
Ulla is the founder and CEO of Just Sauna. With her many years of experience as an Aufguss master, she loves to guide participants on a journey through the heat, surrounded by steam, combined with guided breathing.

Zsolt Szolári
Zsolt specialises in Wenik infusions (Banja rituals using birch branches). His sessions are rhythmic and lively, perfectly tailored to European tastes.

Franziska and Karsten
Franziska and Karsten live according to ancient shamanic healing and natural wisdom, which they interpret in a wonderfully modern way, making it accessible to many people. Even those who have never had any previous exposure to spiritual topics. Discover ancient cultures and customs with Franzi and Karsten, which they have had the privilege of experiencing first-hand on their long journeys.

The concert programme and the events programme are included in the standard admission price.
To take part in the event, you can book a standard admission ticket via our online shop. Simply select the date of the event and your preferred ticket price.
Our standard admission rules apply on event days. The Palais Vital is open to visitors aged 16 and over; the Palm Oasis is also open to visitors aged 16 and over during the week (with the exception of children under 3). At weekends, there is no age restriction in the Palm Oasis.
